Which potting materials dry clear amber?

AeroMarine Products’ 300/11 Potting and Encapsulation Epoxy Resin cures in a clear amber color. A clear amber color allows you to view circuitry or any other components that are encapsulated or potted underneath. To ensure your epoxy potting compound dries clear, make sure you work in a moisture-free environment with a temperature around 65F and 75F. Humidity and moisture can cause blush which will need to be cleaned off and can cloud the color of epoxy as it cures, so make sure you’re working in a clean and humidity-controlled environment.

Why would I want clear potting compounds?

Clear amber potting compounds are often used with electrical applications because it allows one to visually inspect the components that lie within the potting compound. A light can also be shone to view the components beneath the surface of the clear potting compound.
