Microspheres - Tiny, almost invisible hollow glass bubbles used to thicken
resins - It also makes them easy to sand and lowers weight.
A half gallon pail contains about 7 ounces of Microspheres. |

Talc - An inexpensive thickener for most resins - Easier to sand than
Cabosil. Talc is NOT recommended for use below the waterline.
Talc is much easier to work with than Cabosil, which tends to 'float' around
the shop.
"Bondo", the famous body putty, is a mixture of talc and
cheaper polyester resin. |
